The Officers in Prairie du Chien Elect to Leave CWA for the WPPA

The WPPA is proud to announce that the Prairie du Chien police officers have voted to leave the Communication Workers of America (CWA) and join the ranks of the WPPA. The Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission announced the results of this election on September 7.

In 2009, the WPPA was the only labor organization in Wisconsin that grew its membership and had a winning interest arbitration record. In fact, for law enforcement arbitrations, the WPPA went undefeated. The results of the Prairie du Chien election are further proof that the WPPA continues to grow because people recognize that we provide superior services.

The WPPA welcomes the Prairie du Chien officers and is eager to begin providing them with the representation they deserve.
