The WPPA Endorses Jim Holperin for Reelection

MADISON–The Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) announced today its endorsement of Jim Holperin in his reelection campaign to represent the 12th State Senate District. The WPPA’s board of directors, which is comprised of active law enforcement officers from all across the state, overwhelmingly chose to support Holperin after closely evaluating his record against that of his challenger, Kim Simac.

“Throughout his career, Jim Holperin has worked on a wide variety of issues to protect Wisconsin, its law enforcement community, and the middle class,” said WPPA Executive Director, Jim Palmer. “By contrast, the Milwaukee-Journal Sentinel just reported that Kim Simac has publicly admitted that she is unable to name a single bill she would support or oppose if elected. Wisconsin needs leaders who know the issues and have ideas on how to solve them. Jim Holperin has experience doing just that. Kim Simac does not.”

With over 11,000 members from nearly 400 local association affiliates, the WPPA is the state’s largest law enforcement group.
