The Wisconsin Association of Women Police (WAWP) is a professional organization created by women in the law enforcement profession. As a professional organization, this Association is governed by a set of by-laws and is managed by a Board of Directors, representative of all sections of the State of Wisconsin. The organization strives to enhance the professional image and recognition of women in law enforcement and related work.

2007 Spring Training Conference

Topics to be presented that are being considered from last year’s feedback and committee ideas include tactical/survival communication, EEOC complaints, discrimination issues, sexual harassment, early and crisis intervention programs, wellness, staying fit and managing your career and home life.

Membership in the Wisconsin Association of Women Police will afford you added educational training through workshops and seminars, a quarterly newsletter full of newsworthy law enforcement issues and discussions, and the opportunity to network with other officers from different departments within Wisconsin and the world.
