MADISON – The Wisconsin Professional Police Association announced today its endorsement of J.B. Van Hollen for reelection as the state’s attorney general.
“When J.B. Van Hollen ran for attorney general four years ago, he was the most qualified candidate who pledged to reach out to Wisconsin’s law enforcement community to work together, and to confront tough issues like the backlog of DNA cases at the state crime lab,” said WPPA Executive Director Jim Palmer. “During his first term in office, he has fulfilled those commitments and achieved real results that have helped make Wisconsin a safe place to live, work and raise a family. We are proud to support him again as the state’s leading law enforcement official.”
The WPPA represents over 11,000 active and retired members from over 375 locals statewide. With over 70 years of service to law enforcement personnel, the WPPA is recognized as the leading law enforcement association in Wisconsin.
