The WPPA Convention features educational seminars on a variety of timely law enforcement and labor-related topics, a memorable awards banquet honoring officers from all across the state for going above and beyond the call of duty, and a meeting of voting delegates for the purpose of electing officers and transacting other official business.
This year, we will have workshops on Financial Health, Testimony Preparation, Bargaining Strategies and Critical Incident Response. As a special treat for the kids, we will have two K9’s showing off their skills on Sunday morning.

Saturday lunch session will feature comedian Scott Long as our lunchtime entertainment.

Child Care
We will be providing childcare during the Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 25, at a rate of $20 per child. Pizza, snacks, movie, age-appropriate activities and toys will be provided. In order to make sure that we schedule the proper number of caretakers, especially for younger children, pre-registration is required.
