The WPPA Endorses Jacque for Congress

(MADISON, Wis.) – The Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) is pleased to announce its endorsement of André Jacque for Congress. Jacque’s legislative leadership getting important law enforcement priorities enacted into law and his repeated high rankings on the WPPA’s cumulative legislative report card were the basis for the endorsement decision, which was made by the group’s elected board of directors consisting entirely of local law enforcement officers from all across the state.

“Year in and year out, André Jacque has proven his leadership and support for law enforcement and the officers that keep our communities safe,” said WPPA Executive Director Jim Palmer. “He has been an outstanding member of the state legislature, and we are confident that he will be an exemplary member of Congress.”

More specifically, Palmer pointed to the WPPA’s last three legislative report cards published in 2018, 2020, and 2022, respectively. In each, Jacque ranked first among all lawmakers and was recognized as the “WPPA Legislator of the Year.”

“Whether it’s making sure to take care of officers injured in the line of duty or ensuring that our local agencies have the resources they need to protect our communities, André Jacque is second to none,” said Palmer. “No one will out-work Jacque and his dedication to keep our country safe.”
